I am a true web surfer, and tend to use a wide variety of resources, as and when I need them.

I find most of what I want using the infamous Google, but if you haven't tried their advanced or image searches, have a go as they can be very useful.

As a standards embracing web developer I have a need for a browsing environment that can deliver much more than the standard interface. So of course I use the all mighty Firefox.
And here's my favourite plugins for...

Browsing:

Xmarks (previously Foxmarks) can synchronise your browser bookmarks and site passwords across all the computers you access over the internet.
WOT (Web Of Trust) shows user ratings for a web sites reliability and safety. Handy add-on shows symbols in Google search results, and a warning screen shows if you do stray somewhere that other visitors have identified as dodgy.

And don't forget to track down those web standards glitches with Firebug
HTML Validator places a handy icon in your browser status bar for instant standards checking, and opens view source with a double click for more detail.
Want to "borrow" a colour scheme or check yours is using the correct hex values - try Colorzilla for an in-browser colour picker.
And if it has to be pixel perfect then MeasureIt with on screen rulers

All plugins are available from Firefox Add-Ons, where you can check their ratings and reliability. You can also browse many other plugins to customise your Firefox experience. If you find anything good that I haven't spotted then please let me know.

The Photon Raiders logo. One of my favourite hobbies is playing pc games, and I often do this with a group of people with the same interest.
This is known as a clan, and the one I belong to is called The Photon Raiders (=TPR=).
We play Star Wars Battlefront, a multiplayer battle and tactics game.
TPR are a top ranked clan for this game and they have members of all ages, gender and nationalities.
