These are images from The Vickers Photographic Archive, printed on sheets of fabric hung from around 30 feet high
I scanned and manipulated the original images at high resolution before they were sent to the designers for colour treatments and final layout production
These banners form the backdrop to the "Shipbuilders to the World" exhibition at The Dock Museum, and I was also involved in the production of the graphic panel displays for this project
This picture, taken on the museums digital camera, was used in a feature about the banners in the local newspaper, the North West Evening Mail.
